Please use the online-registration to register for the FEBS 2015 Congress.

Registrations for members of FEBS and GBM, young scientists (i.e. students or PhD students) and press are only available on-site at the congress venue. 

Please note that those categories request a proof of status (in English or German). Kindly bring it with you to be able to register with one of the above mentioned categories. Or the not reduced fee will apply.

    The late fee will apply for any registration received after March 13/ June 4, 2015. All fees are indicated in Euro, incl. VAT. Registration on site is possible during the entire congress within the opening hours of the registration counters. Registration and services booked can only be confirmed after receipt of full prepayment or valid credit card details.

    Cancellation Policy

    In case of cancellation of participation until March 12, 2015 registration fees will be refunded deducting a handling fee of € 30 per person. Cancellations received after March 12, 2015 cannot be refunded. Name changes will be charged with € 16 per registration. In case of any special requests for the processing of your invoice, kindly let us know when returning your registration form. For the rewriting of invoices € 16 will be charged.

    Method of Payment

    Payment should be made

    • by credit cards (American Express, Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa).
    • by direct debits order via German bank accounts only.
    • in cash or by credit card on site.

    Letter of Invitation 

    Those persons needing an official invitation letter in order to attend the congress may contact the scientific secretariat: febs2015-secretariat(at)mci-group.com specifying the necessary details. This service is designed only to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the congress. The letter of invitation does not financially obligate the conference organizers in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the conference are the sole responsibility of the attendee.

    FEBS Members from Hinari B Countries

    To assist  participation in the FEBS congress by researchers in Hinari B countries in the FEBS area, a limited number of registrations at this reduced rate is available. In order to benefit from the discount, applications have to:

    • study/work in Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine
    • be a members of the FEBS Constituent Society in these countries (i.e. Association of Armenian Biochemists, Association of Georgian Biochemists, Ukrainian Biochemical Society) 
    • submit an abstract to the congress as first author by the abstract deadline of March 2, 2015

    A scanned proof of membership of the specific society mentioned above should be provided during registration. This 50% reduction of the registration fee is only applicable when registering before March 12, 2015. Travel and accommodation expenses will not be covered. As the number of reduced registrations is limited, we recommend registering as soon as possible.

    Visa Requirements 

    It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of his/her visa requirements. Attendees who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Attendees should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications.

    The organizers will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants.
